Is this a good PSAT score?

I'm a sopre and I got a 1790 on the PSAT. I don't know what a good score is but it also said I had an 88 percentile? I want to go to college for either theatre, visual arts, or journalism, preferably visual arts, and I want to go to the north, particularly New York or Rhode Island. (i live in Texas now.) My GPA last semester was a 4.2 out of a 5.0 grade scale and I was #234 in my cl rank out of about 740 students. Do I have a chance at achieving my goals at all?
