How do I get dog poop smell out of my bran new carpet!?!?

Yes, I scrubbed with lysol disinfecting spray and paper towels... AND THEN I shampooed my carpet with my own machine... this happened last night. It still smells when we are on the floor and I have a crawling/rolling infant! I haven't put her on the floor since the dog pooped on there even though I DID DISINFECT IT!!! Any further suggestions for me to rid the smell or clean it better??? BTW, the carpet is wine red, so I can't use bleach! :) Thanks!
